Rita listened carefully to understand our goals and our culture, and was sensitive to our markets and budgets. We worked with her team more as partners than as an 'outside firm.' Braided River

Braided River. This new conservation imprint launched by The Mountaineers Books combines stunning nature photography with thoughtful essays on some of the most critical environmental issues of our day. We worked with Braided River staff to create the brand and tagline ("Changing perspectives") as well as develop an effective launch strategy to position these books for maximum visibility.
We also handled national publicity for the Braided River publication, The Last Polar Bear: Facing the Truth of a Warming World, and provided media training to book author and nature photographer Steven Kazlowski. Our work helped net features on ABC's Good Morning America, National Public Radio, Northwest Cable News, Seattle Times and more. An exhibit based on the book enjoyed great success at the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture, and is touring nationwide to other science museums and zoos.
